O'Neal Ridge is a high ridge in the Victory Mountains in East Antarctic Victoria Land . With northeast-southwest orientation it rises between the Ingham and Humphries glaciers .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after Russell D. O'Neal, a member of the National Science Board from 1972 to 1977, who had visited several research stations in Antarctica as part of the United States Antarctic Program in 1975 .
