Õru was a rural municipality in the Estonian district of Valga with an area of ​​104.6 km². It had 556 inhabitants (January 1, 2006).

Õru was the smallest municipality in the county. In addition to the main town Õru (192 inhabitants), the local authority included the villages of Killinge, Kiviküla, Lota, Mustumetsa, Õlatu, Õruste, Priipalu and Uniküla .
