The OTK black and white 1922 in the Sport Club Siemensstadt e. V. is the name of the dance department of the Siemensstadt sports club in Berlin . It emerged from the merger of the dance sport club Schwarz-Weiß Berlin in 1922 with the dance sport department of the Sport Club Siemensstadt, the Olympia dance club, which took place on January 1, 2004.

The dance sport club Schwarz-Weiß Berlin was founded in 1922 and is considered the oldest dance sport club in Berlin. The Olympia Tanzklub was founded on January 27, 1969 in the Brunner dance school . On June 1, 1984, he joined the Siemensstadt Sports Club.

The OTK Black and White 1922 in the Siemensstadt Sports Club has around 440 members, making it one of the largest departments in the Siemensstadt Sports Club. In addition to tournament dance in couple and formation dancing , the association offers jazz and modern dance , popular sports and dance for children . The club has a standard formation and two Latin formations that compete in league competitions. In the field of jazz and modern dance, the club also competes with two teams, the “en Vogue” team (currently Regionalliga Nord Ost JMD) and the “InTakt” team (currently Landesliga Nord Ost JMD).

A-team

The Standard A-Team was founded in 1987. In 1992 the team that competed for the TSA Blau-Gelb at Post SV Berlin was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga Standard, followed by promotion to the 1st Bundesliga Standard in 1995. In 1997 the team was relegated again to the 2nd Bundesliga, but managed to get promoted back to the 1st Bundesliga.

For the 2003/2004 season the formation of the TSA Blau-Gelb started in Post SV Berlin for the newly founded formation community of the clubs Olympia TK TSA in SC Siemensstadt and Schwarz-Weiß Berlin 1922, since the season 2004/2005 after the merger of the two clubs then for the OTK black and white 1922 in the Sport Club Siemensstadt.

In July 2012, the club announced that it would no longer compete in the 1st Bundesliga Standard with the A-Team in the 2012/2013 season. The standard formation was last trained by Horst Beer and Anja Thamm.

In the 2012/2013 season, the club entered the Regionalliga Nord Standard with a new A-team formed from the previous B-Team. The team was second in the league and reached 3rd place in the promotion tournament to the 2nd Bundesliga Standard. After Blau-Weiss Berlin withdrew its A-Team from league operations at the end of September 2013, the A-Team of OTK Schwarz-Weiss Berlin moved up to the 2. Bundesliga Standard. The team's coaches are Ruwen Winde and Michael Wenger.

B team

The B-Team has been competing in the Regionalliga Nord since the 2008/2009 season with the following musical themes:

  • 2012/2013 "Elton"

The B-Team was trained by Melanie Ahl. With the withdrawal of the A-Team from the league, the B-Team started as an A-Team in the Regionalliga Nord Standard in the 2012/2013 season. Since the 2013/2014 season, a new B-team has started in the Regionalliga Nord Standard. The coaches are Ruwen Winde and Michael Wenger.

Latin formations

A Latin A team was founded in autumn 2006 in the OTK Black and White 1922 at the Siemensstadt Sport Club. In the first season of 2006/2007 the team was able to win all five national league tournaments, with a shared 1st place in the fourth tournament. In the subsequent promotion tournament, the team then reached 5th place. In the 2007/2008 season, the formation was able to clearly win all league tournaments and started in the new two-track Oberliga Nord as a direct climber in the 2008/2009 season. In the 2009/2010 season, the team qualified with 1st place in the league for participation in the promotion tournament to the Regionalliga North Latin, which it finished in 2nd place and thus rose to the Regionalliga North Latin. A newly founded B-team started in the regional league North Latin since the 2009/2010 season.

The club's Latin formations were dissolved in 2011.

The last coaches of the A team were Dennis Kukuk and Mario Melles, the B team was coached by Julia Nina Schäfer.
