Mahmud Ebrahimzadeh

Mahmud Ebrahimzadeh (* 1951 in Bushehr , Iran ) is a former Iranian soccer player .

Career

Ebrahimzadeh played from the age of 15 in Shahin Buschehr's first team on the position of a striker. In 1975 he moved to Abu Moslem Mashhad and reached third place in the Iranian Pro League with this team . In the same year Ebrahimzadeh was appointed to the Iranian national team. At the time, Ebrahimzadeh was one of the most talented strikers in the country.

When the First Gulf War broke out in 1980 , Ebrahimzadeh stopped playing football in Iran. First he went to Dubai , then later to Germany , where he completed a season for the Göttingen 05 and was the top scorer in the Regionalliga Nord . After the year in Germany, Ebrahimzadeh ended his career and moved with his family to the USA .

In 2000, Ebrahimzadeh opened a football school in Qatar together with Franco Baresi .
