Oakura Bay is a small, shallow bay in the Auckland region of New Zealand, rising to the northwest . It lies on the in the Hauraki Gulf nearby island of Waiheke Iceland . The Te Whau Bay adjoins Oakura Bay in the south and Wharetana Bay in the northeast . With a depth of 25 m, Oakura Bay is the least protruding bay in Putiki Bay . It is a popular travel destination.
