The Oaky River Lake is a reservoir in the northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales . It is one of three man-made lakes in the Macleay River catchment area .

The lake is on the Oaky River , 40 km east of Armidale , east of the Armidale – Kempsey road and south of the Armidale – Grafton road . Only the Oaky River feeds the reservoir.
