The Oamaru Mail Office is a historic building on Tyne Street in the Victorian downtown of the New Zealand city of Oamaru in the Otago region .

The two-story building was built in 1884 as an office for the Oamaru Mail newspaper, based on designs by architects Forrester & Lemon . It was later used by the saddlers Hodge & Jones .

On September 25, 1986, the building was classified as a Category 2 Monument (Historic Place Category II) by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust under number 3365 . It is part of the harbor district, which has been protected as the Harbor / Tyne Street Historic Area .
