The Obakamiga Lake is a lake in Algoma District the Canadian province of Ontario .
The 30 km² lake is located 25 km west-southwest of Hornepayne at an altitude of 355 m in the area of the Canadian Shield . It measures 10 km in north-south direction and 6 km in east-west direction. A peninsula with two elongated arms facing south divides the lake into a large western main basin and several narrow lake sections and bays in the eastern area of the lake. The Obakamiga River drains the southwestern Granitehill Lake and flows into Obakamiga Lake on the south bank. It leaves the lake again at the northern end of the eastern bay and continues to flow to Nagagami Lake, 20 km to the north .
The remote lake is usually reached by seaplane. Angling tourists catch eyeglasses , pike and American perch in the lake .
