Upper Bavarian division from 1310
The Upper Bavarian division of 1310 was the division of the Wittelsbach subduchy of Upper Bavaria under the sons of Duke Ludwig II. It is one of the numerous divisions in the Duchy of Bavaria up to the Primogeniture Act of 1506. It ended again in 1313.

The division of Upper Bavaria in 1310 came with the end of the joint reign of the sons of Duke Ludwig II on October 1, 1310. The division of the state was preceded by a violent dispute over the paternal legacy in Bavaria.
The Duchy of Upper Bavaria was divided into
- Bavaria-Munich-Burglengenfeld under Rudolf I.
- Bavaria-Ingolstadt-Amberg under Ludwig IV. , Later Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian
On June 21, 1313, the joint government was resumed in the Peace of Munich . The contract only lasted one year, but it gave Ludwig the necessary room for maneuver vis-à-vis the Habsburgs . In the battle of Gammelsdorf on November 9, 1313, Ludwig defeated the Habsburg Frederick the Fair.
