Oberkerschen ( lux . : Uewerkäerjeng , French : Hautcharage ) is a village in the Luxembourg municipality of Käerjeng . His neighbors are Küntzig, Fingig, Hivange, Schouweiler, Niederkerschen and Linger.
geography
Oberkerschen is located in the south-western part of Luxembourg. The "Mierbaach", which rises from the "Boufferdenger Muer", runs through Oberkerschen.

Sports
In 1971, the former soccer club Jeunesse Hautcharage was able to qualify for the European Cup Winners' Cup of the 1971/72 season. The club suffered two significant defeats against their first round opponent, last year's European Cup winner, Chelsea , with 0: 8 and 0:13 and were eliminated. In 1997 the two associations Jeunesse Hautcharage and US Bascharage merged. Today the club is known as UN Käerjéng 97 .
