The Ch'ŏngjin trolleybus is a trolleybus system in the North Korean city of Ch'ŏngjin . Together with the Ch'ŏngjin tram , it is the city's main mode of transport.
history
The line network was put into operation on October 20, 1970. The lines are or have been separated from each other. Three lines are currently served:
- Line 1: Sanam - Sabong, change to the tram (Namchongjin - Pongchon) possible
- Line 2: Namchongjin - Ranam
- Line 3: Chongjinyok - Chongam
The operation only lasts around two hours a day.
vehicles
In addition to the trolley buses of Oberleitungsbuswerke Pyongyang as the chollima-90 preferably come from the vehicles Buswerken Chongjin used. The stock includes around 100 vehicles.
