Obermarkersdorf
Obermarkersdorf is a place and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Schrattenthal in the Hollabrunn district in Lower Austria . The market is located southwest of Retz .

history
The place was first mentioned in a document in 1170. In 1357 and 1489 the place was mentioned as a market.
With the Lower Austria. Municipal structure improvement was created in 1972 by amalgamating the municipalities of Schrattenthal, Obermarkersdorf and Waitzendorf to form the municipality of Schrattenthal.
