Obersteinbach is a district of the city of Waldenburg in Baden-Württemberg .

history

The establishment of the place Obersteinbach is largely unknown. The first written records from Steinbach uff dem Wald are over 700 years old. In a legacy letter of 1298, Adelheid v. Backnang was first mentioned in writing in favor of the Gnadental Obersteinbach Monastery .

On January 1, 1971, Obersteinbach was incorporated into Waldenburg.
