The Oborský rybník is a pond in the Bohemian Paradise , six kilometers northwest of Jičín in the Czech Republic .

With a water surface of 11.4 hectares and a depth of up to 3.5 meters, it is the largest of three contiguous ponds in the Jinolice commune . The other two are Němeček with 5.2 hectares and Vražda with 2.1 hectares. The Javorka stream, which flows into the Jizera via the Libuňka , feeds all three bodies of water. The Jinolice pond landscape was created on the area of the former Schlick estate . It was maintained until the 1930s, after which it silted up. After the Second World War, the two larger ponds were exposed again. The small pond Vražda is still overgrown and has been under nature protection since 1990. The wet meadows on its banks are home to a large population of globe flowers and a number of other endangered plant species.

Oborský rybník is a popular destination for anglers and bathers. Its shore region is used as a recreation area. The shore is accessible via sandy beaches and lawns, the bottom is mostly sandy. There are several holiday settlements and a campsite right by the water. The rock town of Prachovské skály is only one kilometer away from Oborský rybník.
