Xocourt is a French commune with 93 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .

Xocourt is located south of Metz at an altitude between 224 and 400 m above sea level, the mean height is 300 m. The municipality covers 4.88 km².

history

The small village has belonged to France since 1661 and was renamed Schollhofen in 1915-18 and Schellhofen in 1940-44 .
