Frémery is a French commune with 77 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .

The municipality of Frémery is located on the upper reaches of the French Nied in the Saulnois at an altitude of between 228 and 280 m above sea level. The municipal area covers 4.39 km².

history

The village has belonged to France since 1661 and carried the Germanized name Fremerchen from 1915-18 and 1940-44 Fremersheim .
