Montdidier (German Diedersberg ) is a French commune with 80 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .

geography

Montdidier is located three kilometers west of Albestroff on a long ridge that overlooks the surrounding area by around 40 meters . The municipality covers 1.93 km².

history

The village was founded in 1628 in the Didersberg forest (1018: Tuderstroff ).
