Vahl-lès-Bénestroff ( German Vahl , 1940-44 Wallen ) is a French commune with 148 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .

Vahl-lès-Bénestroff is three kilometers east of Bénestroff .

The village was mentioned as whales in the Middle Ages . It was completely destroyed in the Thirty Years War and only rebuilt and repopulated in 1660.
