Morville-lès-Vic is a French commune with 123 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .

geography

The municipality of Morville-lès-Vic is four kilometers north of Vic-sur-Seille and three kilometers east of Château-Salins in the center of the Saulnois at an altitude between 220 and 317 m above sea level. The 8.14 km² municipal area is part of the Lorraine Regional Nature Park .

history

The village bore the German name Morsheim 1915-18 and 1940-44 .
