Liocourt is a French commune with 136 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .

The municipality of Liocourt lies on the border with the Meurthe-et-Moselle department , between Metz and Château-Salins in Saulnois, at an altitude of between 253 and 398 m above sea level. The municipality covers 3.17 km².

history

The village has belonged to France since 1661 and was given the German name Linhofen from 1915-18 and 1940-44 .
