Lezey is a French commune with 100 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .

geography

Lezey is located eight kilometers east of Vic-sur-Seille in Saulnois at an altitude between 200 and 262 m above sea level. The municipality covers 7.51 km².

history

The village was completely depopulated in the Thirty Years War . 1915–1918 and 1940–1944 it bore the Germanized name Litzingen .
