Jallaucourt is a French commune with 166 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .

The municipality of Jallaucourt is located in the Saulnois , eight kilometers west of Château-Salins at an altitude between 217 and 295 m above sea level. The municipal area covers 8.41 km².

history

The village has belonged to France since 1661 and carried the German name Gellshofen from 1915-18 and 1940-44 .
