Oriocourt is a French commune with 57 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .

Oriocourt is located southeast of Metz in the Saulnois at an altitude between 228 and 296 m above sea level. The municipality covers 4.44 km².

history

The village has belonged to France since 1661 and carried the German name Orhofen from 1915-18 and 1940-44 .
