Bettborn is a French commune with 395 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .

geography

Bettborn is located about eight kilometers northwest of Sarrebourg on the east bank of the Saar at an altitude between 232 and 322 m above sea level. The municipality covers 6.57 km².

history

In the Thirty Years' War Bettborn was destroyed in 1766, there was France, from 1871 to 1918 to the German Reich and since 1919 back to France.
