Lucy is a French commune with 228 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .

Lucy is located southeast of Metz im Saulnois at an altitude between 228 and 315 m above sea level. The municipality covers 7.36 km². The western boundary of Lucy is the French Nied .

history

The village has belonged to France since 1661 and was renamed Lixingen in 1915-18 and Lixingen bei Delmen in 1940-1944 .
