Richeval (German Reichental ) is a French commune with 133 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarrebourg-Château-Salins .
geography
Richeval is located 15 kilometers west of Sarrebourg on the border with the Meurthe-et-Moselle department at an altitude of between 286 and 353 m above sea level. The municipality covers 4.92 km².
The two hamlets belong to the municipality of Richeval
- Risholtz ( Risholz ) and castle, located to the east, and
- Grand Treuch, formerly Haie-des-Allemands ( Deutschenhag ), located to the south.
