Lindre-Haute is a French commune with 50 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ).

Lindre-Haute is east of Metz at the Linderweiher (Étang de Lindre), but unlike Lindre-Basse not directly on the bank, but a little inland. The original place name was Linder, French Lindre .

history

The place belonged to the County of Zweibrücken until 1297 and then went to the Duchy of Lorraine .

1915-18 the place name was changed to Ober-Linder , 1940-44 in Oberlinden .
