A Jewish community in Liocourt in the Moselle department in the French region of Lorraine was established at the beginning of the 19th century at the latest.

history

The Jewish community of Liocourt built the synagogue before 1850 , which was used until 1914. It still stands today on Rue des Vignes and is used as a warehouse. The place for the Torah shrine can still be seen today. The Jewish community belonged to the Israelite consistorial district of Metz , which has existed since 1808.
