A Jewish community in Sentzich-Cattenom in the Moselle department in the French region of Lorraine was established by the beginning of the 19th century at the latest.

history

The Jewish community built a synagogue after 1854 , which is now used as a carpenter's workshop. Services were held in the synagogue until 1928, after which it was sold to a private individual. The Jewish community belonged to the Israelite consistorial district of Metz , which has existed since 1808.
