San Vittore Observatory
The San Vittore Observatory ( Osservatorio San Vittore ) is an astronomical observatory located in Bologna , Italy with the observatory code 552.
98 asteroids have been discovered at the observatory so far (as of January 2010) , it is 280 meters above sea level and has a 0.45 m Newtonian reflector telescope .
The asteroid of the outer main belt (2235) discovered on April 5, 1924 in the State Observatory Heidelberg-Königstuhl (2235) Vittore was named after the observatory after its rediscovery in 1979.
