Oda Nobutada

Oda Nobutada (織田 信 忠; * 1557 ; † June 21, 1582 in Kyōto ) was a Japanese samurai and the eldest son and designated heir of the first Japanese unifier Oda Nobunaga and his concubine Kitsuno , a member of the Ikoma clan . On behalf of Nobunaga he took part in the campaign against the Takeda in 1582. In the same year he was killed together with his father by Akechi Mitsuhide during the attempted coup against the Oda , the Honnōji incident .
