Wilhelmseiche

Wilhelmseiche is a residential area in the Börgitz district of the Hanseatic city of Stendal in the Stendal district in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

The Wilhelmseiche housing estate is located in the west of the Börgitz district and about one kilometer northeast of Uchtspringe . It comprises the Wilhelmseiche street and parts of the Lindenweg and Börgitzer Dorfstraße streets. The Wendisch Börgitz residential area and the village of Börgitz adjoin to the north.

history

The brick buildings were built at the end of the 19th century for the clinic's nurses on behalf of the state hospital. The settlement is a listed building.

Incorporations

In 1900, 214.4 hectares were separated from the districts of Börgitz and Staats (including Wilhelmseiche), from which the independent manor district of Uchtspringe was formed.

On October 17, 1928, the Uchtspringe manor district was converted into a rural community Uchtspringe with the stipulation that the Wilhelmseiche exclave near Börgitz was merged with the rural community Börgitz.
