The Odeleite ( Portuguese Ribeira de Odeleite ) is a river in the Algarve region of Portugal , which flows entirely through the Faro district . It rises about ten kilometers southwest of the municipality of Cachopo , flows in an easterly direction and finally flows into the Guadiana . About four kilometers before it flows into the Guadiana, the Odeleite is dammed up into a reservoir by the Odeleite dam.
