Odessa is a non-incorporated town in Klamath County , Oregon, in the United States . The place is on Oregon Route 140 , a few miles east of Rocky Point and 23 miles west of Klamath Falls . The village on Odessa Creek was founded in the 1890s and was a trading post in dealings with the Indians . There was a post office in Odessa from 1902 to 1919.
