Odomar Gugenberger

Othmar (also Odomar ) Maximilian Gugenberger (born October 10, 1895 in Vienna-Währing ; † August 7, 1987 in Mistelbach (Lower Austria) ) was an Austrian geologist and radio operator.

He studied geology at the University of Vienna and was awarded a doctorate in late 1926 with a thesis entitled "On the Lias of Ak Dagh von Merzifun and the spread of the higher Jura in northeastern Anatolia". phil. PhD. From 1927 to 1945 he was director of the State Image Office and lecturer at the Pedagogical Institute of the City of Vienna . After the war, from 1948 until his retirement in 1965, he was a scientific advisor and culture editor at Austrian Broadcasting .
