The Round Dolmen Offersten in Hornbæk ( German  Sacrificial Stone ) is located in a forest near the North Zealand seaside resort of the same name in Denmark , around 250 m south of the coastal road.

It is a well-preserved round hill about 8.5 m in diameter from the Neolithic Age , which was built by the carriers of the Funnel Beaker Culture (TBK) between 3500 and 2800 BC. Was built. Neolithic monuments are an expression of the culture and ideology of Neolithic societies. Their origin and function are considered to be the hallmarks of social development.

Hornbæk

The round dolmen of Hornbæk (9 thereof even by a circle of 16 stones in situ ) surrounded, during about half a dozen curbs are missing. The off-center chamber is damaged. It consisted of two side stones and two end stones. Two side stones are tilted inwards. The large capstone of this all-round closed and thus typologically early Urdolmen has been moved. The complex sketched in 1877 by Andreas Peter Madsen (1822–1911) was placed under protection in 1942.
