Ofolanga is an island in the north of Ha'apai in the Pacific . Politically, it belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga . The island has about 90 residents.
geography
The Motu is located on the northern tip of the Lifuka archipelago and is part of Ha'ano . In the south is the next island Moʻungaʻone . To the east, the nearest island is Luahoko in the center of the lagoon. The island is surrounded by a relatively wide reef rim with the points Puhi and Faihava Point . On the island is the place Puleieia (Buleieia).
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands in the Ha'apai group, Ofolanga is occasionally hit by cyclones .
