Ofrin

Ofrin is an Israeli jazz pop music project founded in Berlin with electroacoustic influences. Ofrin was founded as a duo by the singer Ofri Brin and her husband, the composer Oded K. Dar, and today consists only of Ofri Brin.

history

After musical projects in Israel and Great Britain, Ofri Brin moved to Berlin in 2005, where she founded the jazz pop band “Ofrin” together with the composer Oded K. Dar. The debut album Rust & Velvet (2005) was followed in 2008 by the LP On Shore Remain , which was created with producer and keyboardist Eddie Stevens. On the third album The Bringer Brin works solo for the first time. In 2014, Brin was seen as musical support for Frank Schätzing's live tour Breaking News , whose novel of the same name is set mainly in Israel. The fourth album Ore was released in 2016 .
