Ogablick (dialect for moment ) is the name of an Austrian film team.

The team has dedicated itself to the non-commercial short film in the Vorarlberg dialect. Today the team is an important representative of the Vorarlberg dialect film. It has won prizes at national and international festivals and competitions, including bronze at the World Championship of Non-Commercial Films ( Union Internationale du Cinéma [UNICA]).

history

Ogablick was founded in 2007 in Vorarlberg , Austria . The story began in 2005 with the two filmmakers Wolfgang Tschallener from Klaus and Werner Fischer from Rankweil , who jointly realized the first film ideas. In the meantime the film team has 15 active employees. There, film-loving amateurs came together to make films on a professional level. From the idea to the script and storyboard , from the shooting to the finished editing and synchronization to your own film music, everything comes from our own pen. In 2005, various ogablick films were shown on the TV broadcaster Bayern Alpha (video worlds) and the regional cable TV broadcasters RTV, RKK and 3S. In 2011, “Salzigs Wasser”, a 63-minute fictional film in the Vorarlberg dialect, tells of dreams and goals and how to deal with them. After four years of filming and post-production, the premiere took place in front of a large audience in the “Winzersaal” in Klaus. In 2015, the second feature film “Der Fremde” was presented to the large audience in Klaus. In 2015 the structure of ogablick changed in its main features. Werner Fischer withdrew from the team. The team is now led by Wolfgang Tschallener, Ruth Summer and Angelika Frick. In 2016 "Der Fremde" was shown in the cinema in Lustenau, among other places . In the ten years since it was founded, ogablick has made 35 short, animated and feature films in the Vorarlberg dialect.

  • 2014 - "curfew" was included in the "Best of 2014" of the Austrian film authors and presented in the Breitenseer Lichtspiele in Vienna.
  • 2016 - Feature film "Der Fremde" in the cinema in Lustenau

In addition, the crew received numerous awards for direction, editing, best actor, best Austrian film of the festival, most humorous film, best idea and many more.
