The Oghamstein of Templebryan North ( Irish Teampall Brianaid Thuaidh ) is next to Ballycrovane with 5.3 m height one of the highest in County Cork in Ireland . The needle-like, about 3.3 m high Oghamstein is 0.3 to 0.36 m wide. It is located in the northern half of an enclosure which also contains a ruined chapel and a cemetery.

The packing stones around the foot are visible and there is the contour of a small carved paw cross on the west side. The weathered Oghamin script is on the northwest corner and reads "ANM Tenas MACI V". Cross and inscription are deeply upset that they almost certainly one since the Bronze Age standing menhir have been added. Ziegler dated the inscription between 550 and 900 AD.

A portlaun is about 1.4 m to the east. The bullaun is known locally as the "Wart Well" and its water is said to be a remedy for warts.
