Okie Dokie Stomp is a compilation album by Clarence Gatemouth Brown , released in 1999 by Bullseye Blues & Jazz.
History of origin
The compilation contains songs from the three albums Brown recorded for Rounder Records between 1981 and 1986. Specifically, these are Alright Again (1981, Rounder 2028, five songs), One More Mile (1983, Rounder 2034, four songs) and Real Life (1986, Rounder 2054, two songs). In addition, the mid-price album contained a 10-minute version of the song The Drifter , first released in 1973 on the album The Drifter Rides Again . The live version was recorded in 1982 at the International Jazz Festival in Bern .
