Oksana Sekerina

Oksana Sekerina (* Novy Urengoy , Russia ) is a Russian opera and concert singer with a soprano voice .

Live and act

Oksana Sekerina studied singing in Khanty-Mansiysk and in Bari . In the summer of 2016 she deputed as Donna Anna from Don Giovanni at the Bregenz Festival . This was followed by engagements at the Graz Opera House , where she played the Comtessa from Le Nozze di Figaro and Tatjana from Eugene Onegin . In 2018 she also sang Ortlinde in Die Walküre at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse and the roles of Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) , Adalgisa ( Norma ) and Dona Leonora ( La forza del destino ) in Santiago de Chile. In the Basel Opera she appears as La Contessa di Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro . In November 2019 she made her debut in Germany in the title role of Puccini's opera Tosca at the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich. In addition to her stage presence, the soprano is a concert singer. She interpreted the soprano solo in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory . Her concert repertoire also includes solo parts from Carmina Burana , St. Matthew Passion , Stabat Mater and the Christmas Oratorio by Hilarion Alfejew.

The artist is the winner of the Birgit Nilsson Prize of the Operalia Competition 2017. She was also a finalist at the Moscow / Bolshoi Theater: Final of the Competizione dell'Opera for the 20th anniversary - October 2nd, 2016.
