Olaf Hampel (football player)
Olaf Hampel (born June 24, 1967 in Essen ) is a former German American football player. The 1.98 m tall player was initially active with the Bonner Jets (now Troisdorf Jets) and the Cologne Crocodiles , until he was one of the few non-Americans with Frankfurt Galaxy in the early 1990s , then with Rhein Fire in NFL Europe played. He did not get into the squad of the NFL professional team St. Louis Rams . He played in defense and attack.
