The Saskatchewan Roughriders are a Canadian football team from Regina in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan . It was founded in 1910 as Regina Rugby Club and plays in the Canadian Football League in the West Division . They play their home games at Mosaic Stadium , which replaced their former home of Taylor Field in 2017 . The current stadium has a capacity of 33,350. The club is known for its particularly fanatical supporters, called melonheads .

successes
The Saskatchewan Roughriders won the championship of the West Division six times, the first time in 1951 and took a total of five times at the Gray Cup in part, but they won only four times.
