Oleksandr Martynenko (born July 22, 1989 in Donetsk ) is a former Ukrainian track and road cyclist .

Athletic career

Oleksandr Martynenko won the silver medal in the points race at the European Junior Track Cycling Championships in Athens in 2006. He won the title at the World Cup in Ghent , Belgium .

From 2008 Martynenko drove for the Ukrainian Continental Team ISD-Sport Donetsk . In the same year he became Ukrainian track scratch champion . In 2011 he won two stages of the Grand Prix of Adygeya and the Grand Prix of Moscow . In 2013 he ended his cycling career.
