Olgierd Ciepły

Olgierd Ciepły (born March 28, 1936 in Tscharnjaty , Hrodsenskaja Woblasz , † January 5, 2007 in Bydgoszcz ) was a Polish hammer thrower .

In 1958 he was fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm , and in 1959 he won silver at the World Festival of Youth and Students .

At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 and at the European Championship in Belgrade in 1962 , he came in fifth place. In 1964 he finished eighth at the Tokyo Olympics .

He was Polish champion four times (1959, 1960, 1962, 1963). He set his personal best of 67.50 m on July 9, 1964 in Walbrzych .

He was married to the sprinter Teresa Ciepły .
