Olha Freimut ( Ukrainian Ольга Михайлівна Коник-Фреймут Olha Mychajliwna Konyk-Frejmut ; born February 25, 1982 in Novyj Rosdil , Lviv Oblast , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian presenter , journalist , author and model .

biography

Olha Freimut was born on February 25, 1982 in Novyj Rosdil in Lviv Oblast. Her father was a soccer player and her mother was a Soviet sports champion in swimming. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Vistula in Warsaw, she obtained a master's degree in international journalism from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and the City, University of London , where her diploma was awarded “magna cum laude”.

Professional career

She worked in London as a journalist for the BBC and worked in the advertising industry. After the Orange Revolution , she returned to Kiev, where she worked in the international department of the channel 5. For a while she worked as a fashion journalist on the program “Breakfast with 1 + 1”.

In 2008 this program was discontinued. Through the producer and journalist Lyudmila Padlewska she found out about a casting for a morning show on the television station “Novyj Kanal”. After a successful casting, she co-hosted the program “Pidyom” with Oleksandr Pedan and Serhij Prytula. The last issue of this format was broadcast on May 27, 2011.

Freimut writes articles about fashion. In her work as a model, she was, among other things, the face of a new collection by the Ukrainian designer Oksana Karavanskaya in 2010.

From June 2011 to March 2012 she and Dima Kolyadenko guided through the “Shoumaniya” program.

At the end of August 2011, the program "Revizor" started in which Olha Freimut checked the quality of Ukrainian service companies. The program became one of the most successful projects of the “Novyj Kanal” channel in the 2011/2012 season. From March 10, 2012, she and Serhij Prytula presented the program “Who is at the top?”. In the summer of the same year she traveled together with Serhij Prytula and Oleksandr Pedan for the program “Kabrioleto” through Ukraine.

The Ukrainian magazine “Fokus” listed her in 2011 in the ranking of the “30 most successful television personalities in Ukraine”. In summer 2011 she gave her voice to the “Smurfette” in the cartoon “The Smurfs”. On December 2, 2011, she led the event for the group stage draw of the 2012 European Football Championship .

In 2012 Freimut also set the radio play Märchen by the Brothers Grimm to music . The project was carried out by the “Korrespondent” magazine in cooperation with the Council of Germans of Ukraine and the German Embassy in Kiev. In autumn 2012 she was a member of the jury for the show "ShoumaStgouon".

On October 13, 2013, she and Aram Mnatsakanov presented the program “War of the Worlds: Auditor versus Boss” on the “Novyi Canal”. In the same year Freimut was the face of the advertising campaigns for "Garnier Color Naturals" and the drinking yoghurt "Aktivia". In addition, she starred in the films Double Life and Shadows of the Unforgotten Ancestors .

From September 3, 2014, she moderated the program “Inspector Freimut” on the TV channel “1 + 1”. On the same TV channel, she performed the fourth season of “The Voice of the Country. Restart ". In 2014 Freimut was also named one of the “100 Most Influential Women in Ukraine” by the magazine “Fokus”.

On September 12, 2015 in Lviv she presented her first book with the title Where eats and sleeps Freimut? .

Since April 5, 2016, she has hosted the reality show Auf Messern on the TV channel "1 + 1". In the same channel, Freimut played a role in the TV series Our Girls in Warsaw . In 2018 she was on the show Vom Kind zum Dame .
