Oliver O'Donovan

Oliver Michael Timothy O'Donovan (* 1945 in London ) is a British moral theologian .

Life

O'Donovan was born in London in 1945. After studying classical languages ​​at Balliol College , Oxford , O'Donovan turned to theology. O'Donovan was ordained a priest in the Anglican Church but embarked on an academic career. He first taught at Wycliffe Hall at Oxford University (1972-77), and then at Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto . In 1982 he was appointed as Regius Professor of Moral and Pastoral Theology appointed to the University of Oxford, where he also as Canon ( Canon ) from Christchurchacted.
