Oliver Szymanski

Oliver Szymanski (born July 27, 1990 in Berlin ) is a German sailor in the 470 class .

Life

Oliver Szymanski from Joersfelder sailing club was in 2013, succeeding Patrick Follmann foredeck of Ferdinand Gerz . The two finished second at the international German championships in 2013, and won the title in 2014 and 2015.

In 2015 they finished fourth at the World Cup in Hyères. In the same year, the two won the title at the European Championships. At the 2015 World Championships, the crew came ninth, and in 2016 they finished seventh.

Ferdinand Gerz and Oliver Szymanski were part of the German team for the 2016 Olympic Games . At the Olympic Regatta they finished eleventh.

On September 9, 2016, the team announced their separation.

Oliver Szymanski is a trained businessman. After his career, he successfully completed training as a physiotherapist.
