Olivier Chansou

Olivier Chansou (* 1965 ) is a French civil servant (fonction publique). Since November 27, 2017, he has been General Director of the École nationale de l'aviation civile (French civil aviation university ).

biography

The ENAC graduate (IÉNAC L85) and holder of a Master of Science degree in IT and parallelism, began his career in the General Directorate of Civil Aviation as head of the embedded equipment department of the “STNA” (Air Navigation Technical Service) in Paris from 1990 to 1995. He was Deputy Head of the Real-Time Equipment Division from 1995 to 1998, Deputy Head of Technical Staff at the Air Traffic Control Directorate (DSNA) from 1998 to 2002, and finally Head of Systems and Methods in the Air Traffic Control Directorate from 2002 to 2006.

As Head of the Air Traffic Control Center in Bordeaux (2006–2009) and Deputy Director of DGAC (2009–2012), Olivier Chansou heads four departments of DSNA South-West ( Bordeaux ) from 2012 to 2017 .

On November 27, 2017, he will be appointed by French President Emmanuel Macron , CEO of ENAC, to succeed Marc Houalla .
